Dry Bulk
Equipment Specialists
"Empresa especializada en el suministro de Tanques-Remolque (Pipas,
Cisternas) y sopladores para uso en transporte de carga seca a granel."
Pneumatic Exports, Inc. of Miami, Florida is a new company owned by
Southeastern Pneumatic, Inc. of Ellaville, Georgia and Southwestern Pneumatic,
Inc. of Kyle, Texas. The Georgia and Texas companies have gained a national
reputation as a supplier of dry bulk equipment. Pneumatic Exports, Inc.
in Miami was started to provide the same quality and knowledge for our
Latin America customers as we offer our domestic customers.
Evaristo "Marty" Martinez has joined
Pneumatic Exports, Inc. as General Manager. Mr. Martinez originated from
Colombia, South America. He has resided in Miami, Florida for a number
of years working with industrial machinery for the U.S. market as well
as the Latin American Countries.
Melvin Collins started the first company, Southeastern Pneumatic, Inc.
in August 1987 and Southwestern Pneumatic, Inc. of Kyle, Texas in 1995.
Prior to these ventures, he had worked for over 20 years for a major dry
bulk carrier in the southeast. During this time he recognized a need for
a business that could combine dry bulk tank trailers and blowers to handle
different types of dry bulk commodities.
"We’re in a very specialized part of the industry," says Melvin Collins,
company owner and president, "A lot of people who sell tank trailers don’t
know blowers and vice versa. And a lot who sell both don’t know commodities...That’s
our expertise."
The three
companies have authorized factory distributor contracts with major manufacturers
which have proven to produce premium equipment. With the distributor contracts,
the company is required to sell, service, repair, install, and inventory
these items. New and used equipment is always kept in inventory.
